The official and first fashion foundation to be built in Palestine, located on the outskirts of Ramallah, aims to showcase the prominence of Palestinian fashion designers both locally and internationally. Historically, the Palestinian fashion industry has always been present, evolving over time. Recently, the focus has shifted towards importing and exporting fashion products rather than designing them. Traditional Palestinian fashion, with its distinct geometric patterns and cuts, has the potential to be transformed into remarkable clothing by Palestinian designers. The fashion foundation serves as a bridge between the public and the design scene, incorporating various fields that interact with fashion, such as painting, sculpting, filmmaking, and literature. The project includes buildings that function as private institutions while being dedicated to public use, supporting and fostering a vibrant cultural exchange.
